Shaggy

Shaggy, ou de son vrai nom Orville Richard Burrell, est né le 22 Octobre 1968 à Kingston, et est d'origine jamaïcaine. Il sort son premier album, intitulé Pure Pleasure, en 1993, dont l'un des extraits les plus connus est Oh Carolina. En 1995, il obtient un Grammy Award, grâce à son album BOMBASTIC et le single du même nom, Bombastic, connaît un succès mondial. Malheureusement pour lui, qui supporte plutôt mal cet échec, l'album suivant, est loin d'être apprécié par le public. En effet, l'album Midnite Lover, publié en 1997, se vend peu.
