Billie Holiday

Billie Holiday, née Eleanora Fagan, à Baltimore, le 7 avril 1915 et morte à New York le 17 juillet 1959 est une chanteuse de jazz américaine considérée comme l'une des grandes divas que le jazz ait connues. Biographie Quand Eleanora Fagan naît à Baltimore en 1915, sa mère, Sadie Fagan, a 19 ans et son père, Clarence Holiday, 17. Dans Lady Sings the Blues, Billie Holiday, réécrivant son histoire, enlève quelques années à son père, plus encore à sa mère, et en fait un couple marié.
