KIRK FRANKLIN L’été 1993, un jeune musicien de gospel inconnu originaire du Texas sort sont premier album appelé Kirk Franklin & The Family. Très bien accepté, il a embrase immédiatement les foules et se classe pendant 100 semaines dans les charts gospel des Billboards. Bien que sa musique tende vers le R&B, son album devient le premier album de Gospel vendu à des millions de copies. Kirk Franklin est né et a grandi à Fort Worth au Texas. Enfant comme adolescent, Kirk n’était pas étranger à la douleur comme au réconfort du Seigneur.
