Rico Love

Rico was born in Milwaukee, but split his time between New Orleans and Harlem when his parents divorced.
Later on, he moved to Tallahassee, Florida to attend Florida A&M University, only to move to Atlanta after graduating.
It was here that Rico began to pursue a career as a rap artist.
While there, he was able to open for Usher on tour.
This would lead him to become the first artist signed to Usher's label, US Records, a subsidiary of J Records. Rico won a Grammy for his production work on Beyoncé's award winning album "I Am...Sasha Fierce".
He worked on the songs "Sweet Dreams".[1\] and "Save a Hero," a bonus digital track.
He has also penned the hits "There Goes My Baby" and "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" from Usher's album "Raymond v.
Raymond" debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200.
Rico also wrote Nelly's "Just a Dream," [1\] which peaked at #3 on the Billboard charts and was Nelly's biggest hit since 2005. In November 2010, Rico launched his label, Division 1, a 50/50 joint venture with Universal Motown.
[2\] Young Chris, a Philly-based rapper, [3\] was the first artist signed to the label. Most tracks written by Rico Love have the phrase 'Turn The Lights On!' Said at the beginning of the song either by him or the artist.[2\] He is currently signed to the management company Made Communication in Miami, FL.
