There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Lila is a young girl from Austria who performs melancholic Rock/Pop. 2) Lila is an experimental-acoustic band originally from Tokyo, Japan. The band is named after the the lead singer's dead cat. Lila was first formed in 2004 and is the main project of two high school students, Gene Fukui(singer) and Sakiko Suga(guitarist). Lila released their first EP, "FIREFLY EATS THE ROBOT", in May 2007. They are the collaboration of teenage angst and the tontemporary indie requiem - having a delicate balance of melancholy and hopefulness.
