The Outsiders

The Outsiders

There are several artists named The Outsiders (11 are mentioned here): (1) Starting out in 1960 as an unknown neighbourhood band from the east of Amsterdam, NL, they became one of the biggest success stories in Dutch Rock, and made some of the most lastingly great records. They never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all the 12 45s and 3 LPs they made. Other band members included Appie Rammers on bass, Leendert Busch on drums, Ronald Splinter on guitar and Tom Krabbendam also on guitar.
