Style Of Eye
Style of Eye, otherwise known by his real name as Linus Eklöw, was a songwriter, DJ and producer from Stockholm, Sweden, specializing in house, techno and electronic music.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with many popular artists include Usher, Lily Allen, Kyline Monigoe and Lars Allertz.
Style of Eye was influenced at a young age by a wide range of music styles from Stevie Wonder to drum and bass producers such as DJ Hype and DJ Zinc.
His musical biography began at age 14 when he began creating experimental tracks and performing at school dances.
However, his career in house music began in 2003 with the release of "Right Now" on Classic, a Chicago based label.
By 2008, Style of Eye released his first full length album, Duck, Cover And Hold, on Pickadoll Records.
The album contained 13 dance tracks, including the lead single "Girls".
In addition to his own musical tracks, Style of Eye spent a significant amount of time behind the scenes working on production for artists such as Fenech Soler and Icona Pop.
He also toured extensively at music festivals and nightclubs throughout the world, including India's Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Snowbombing and Sunburn Festival.
At the end of 2012, Style of Eye formed the group Galantis with members of Miike Snow, who released a self-titled EP that reached the fourth position on the iTunes dance chart.
Galantis followed this release with a USA tour, including two performances at Coachella.
In 2014, Style of Eye released his second album, Footprints, on Ultra Music.
The Footprints single, "Kids", was released several months early and went platinum in Sweden before the album was released.
