The Blue Diamonds

The Blue Diamonds consist of two brothers, Ruud and Riem de Wolff, who are of Dutch/Indonesian descent. Born in Indonesia, they moved to Holland where their singing talents were discovered by Dutch Phillips. The singing duet was formed in 1949 and their first hit was a revival of the 1928 hit "Ramona". "Ramona" hit the No. 1 spot in the Dutch and German charts in 1960 and even entered the American Billboard Hot 100. Because of their part Asian descent, the Blue Diamonds were also highly popular in South-east Asia and the Far East.
