ZAMAN
ZaMaN band: An Egyptian band that performs their own contemporary songs, mixed with oriental and classical western music, and their swift distribution, taking from the past it's originality and from the present its tools to present a fine art that lives in the future.
The idea originated by Ezz brothers (Ahmed and Mustafa) in 2006, they loved the Egyptian oriental music, so they decided to learn more about that kind of music....they joined many vocal workshops in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, where they got to know more about other types of music, they were very fond of the old type.
By 2007 they met (Mohamed Afran) in one of this courses, who had similar ideas like theirs, so they decided to form a band…and the first concert of the band was in 2009.
They chose the name "ZAMAN" for the band, referring to the style of music they are playing and singing....like (Blues, Soft Jazz, Old's Rock & Roll, Pop country, Reggae…and more).
