Swan
Formed in the cold of November 2008, SWAN comes from the heart of Marion, Indiana.
Fusing elements of melodic hardcore and thrash, SWAN brings the fury in their passionate take on punk.
After a few member changes, SWAN has found their strongest line up to date.
Currently, the boys are working hard on completely self-producing their debut LP, AMERICAN SCUM.
SWAN is a band that believes in working together and in the DIY ethics, these five dudes are an up and coming force in the Midwest punk movement.--2010 brings a new inspiration and mindset to the four boys you know as SWAN, one that will make an even more thunderous effect on hardcore than in 2009.
After the relocation of bass player Jack Counce, the remaining four dudes decided it was time to re-evaluate.
Saving AMERICAN SCUM for another time when it can be properly treated and made into the melodic hardcore record it deserves to be, SWAN has written seven new songs for a release aptly titled BLUNT SEASON.
These songs bring a new sound to SWAN: heavy, fast, frantic, and solid all at the same time.
