Classified

Luke Boyd, the rapper known as Classified, was born December 13, 1997, in Enfield, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Boyd attended Hants East Rural High School in Milford Station, Nova Scotia.
At age 18 he started his own record label, Half Life Records, and began his career as an MC with the release of his full length LP, Time's Up, Kid.
He resides in the small town of Enfield with his wife and two daughters. Classified is one of the most successful MCs to come out of Canada.
From 1995-2014 he released 16 studio albums.
Over the course of his career Classified has worked with many musicians, including Brother Ali, Joe Budden, B.o.B., Royce da 5'9", David Myles, and DL Incognito. The Canadian MC experienced a rise in success and critical acclaim with each album he released.
In 2006 he began to receive industry attention.
Juno, Canada's Music Awards, nominated his breakthrough album Boy-Cott-In the Industry for Best Rap Recording.
He also received a nomination and won Best Rap Video from MuchMusic Video Awards for his single, "No Mistakes." He has been nominated for a total of 17 MuchMusic Video Awards, winning six, and 8 Juno Awards with one win. Classified reached the peak of his career in 2013 with the release of his fifteenth album: the self titled Classified.
The album debuted at #1 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.
He won a Juno Award for the single "Inner Ninja" which also hit the top 5 on Canadian charts.
Classified co-hosted the Juno Awards in 2014.
He also released his new single "Higher," featuring B.o.B.
