Two artists share this name: a Scottish group and an American rock band. 1) The Chimes were a successful dance music trio from Scotland, featuring vocalist Pauline Henry (born 29 January 1961) with Mike Peden and James Locke. They are best known for their hits "Heaven" and a remake of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," which became a UK Top Ten hit. In the U.S. they reached the Billboard Hot 100 with the song "1-2-3," at #86 in 1990. It spent two weeks at #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, and its follow-up, "Heaven," was a #1 dance chart hit.
