The American Dollar

The American Dollar is an American post rock/ambient band, formed in 2005 in Queens, New York.
The band consists of drummer John Emanuele and guitarist Richard Cupolo.
They have released five studio albums.
Their debut self-titled effort was released in 2006.
A Memory Stream, the band's third full-length, was issued in 2008.
Their fourth album, entitled Atlas, was released by Yesh Music on January 1, 2010.
The band has toured America and Canada, and played shows in Russia, with plans to tour a wider swath of the world in 2012.
The American Dollar's fifth full length album was released on March 24, 2012.In August of 2011 the band brought a lawsuit against Joel and Victoria Osteen and the Lakewood Church alleging copyright infringement.
The suit originally sought $3 million in damages.
The case was dismissed by U.S.
District Judge Keith Ellison and later settled on undisclosed terms.
