Mario Biondi & The High Five Quintet

Mario Biondi & The High Five Quintet

Mario Biondi is an all Italian soul-jazz singer from Catania, Sicily. He first sung in the local church at the age of 12 and later in the piazzas and streets of his native Italy. His first album was recorded with the High Five Quintet (all Italian musicians led by Fabrizio Bosso e Daniele Scannapieco) in Bergamo in 2006. His unique voice has been likened to that of James Ingram, Luther Vandross and Barry White.
