Tyler Smith AKA Formula began gaining interest in Hip-Hop before he could remember.
Been writing since the age of 13, and been actually producing/recording tracks since 16.
Now only 18 the progress is on a steady climb.
Formula released a Introduction Tape on July 31, 2009 called "Swimmin On Tha Moon" which was a Collaboration Mixtape featuring Kyle Zimmerman AKA Ice Jr.
After listening to the material that was on the tape Formula decided to take it down and create all new material and make sure the caliber on the next one would astonish people to a point where they would not believe it was him. Formula began recording "Nothings Changed" around early October.
Recording 4 tracks he decided to start at the beginning again.
"I want to make sure this tape really hits people, puts my foot in the door.
So i'm going to do it until i like it, until its something I would personally want to drive around bumping it." Official recording began in late October.
It is currently planned to drop on January 17th, 2011.
"I want to release a mixtape in the beginning of the year, the middle of the year, and the end of the year." Once the [Nothings Changed\] mixtape releases, the next day he will be back in the studio working on the mid-summer mixtape, no title has been confirmed at this point.
Weather your hate him or love him he's going to make sure you hear him.
"If they don't like me yet, I guarantee by the end of 2011 i'm going to be 10 times bigger than I am now, everywhere you look, Formula, everywhere you listen, Formula." The hunger is easy to see, the dedication is hard to forget and the determination is unstoppable.
