Tristan Prettyman

Tristan Prettyman is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist.
Her childhood spent in the sun and surf of San Diego County comes through in her warm, laid-back, intimate blend of folk, pop and rock.
Prettyman was born in 1982, and her early musical influences included Ani DiFranco and Joni Mitchell.
She picked up a guitar and learned to play, eventually reaching the point of performing in local venues.
Then, Jason Mraz, also from the San Diego area, invited Prettyman to tour with him.
This experience resulted in contacts in the industry, and Prettyman released her first album through Virgin Records in 2005.
This acoustic blend of folk and pop was titled "Twentythree", which was her age at the time.
Prettyman's second album was released in 2008.
"Hello...x" debuted at number 27 on the Billboard 200 chart.
After this release, Prettyman took time off to travel and rejuvenate.
She came roaring back in 2012 with her third album, "Cedar + Gold".
"Cedar + Gold" represented a cathartic release of the raw emotions that Prettyman dealt with during her hiatus.
The album cracked the top 20 of Billboard's Top Rock Albums and produced the hit singles "My Oh My" and "Say Anything".
Prettyman supported this album with a tour, appearing alongside The Script.
The single "Say Anything" was featured in the film Safe Haven, as well.
Prettyman has maintained an active touring schedule throughout her career, supporting other artists as well as headlining tours throughout the U.S.
and Europe.
In 2014 she supported Eric Hutchinson on a fall and winter U.S.
tour.
She released the EP "Back To Home" the same year.
