Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi (pronounced [dʒuˈzɛpːe ˈverdi] in Italian; October 9 or 10, 1813 – January 27, 1901)(La Roncole, Italy, was an Italian Romantic composer, mainly of opera.
