The One And The Many is a four piece alternative rock group from Johannesburg, South Africa, formed in 2006 (formerly known as Judith). We bring a driving sound to the stage and with every show we deliver with passion, intent and powerful melodies accompanied by truthful, hard hitting vocals.
Our influences include Foo Fighters, Incubus, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.
Achievements So Far: Released our single "Future Imperfect" in the UK on a compilation album "Stay In The Box" and received air time in the UK and Australia (2008).
Featured/Interview on GO TV with Barney Simon and performed our track "Picture Not The Frame" (March 2008).
Winner of battle of the bands (Boksburg) - received a 3 day recording session at B-Sharp Studios (June 2008).
Reached the semi finals of the Lucky Fish - Battle of the Bands (August 2008).
Released our single "Bound To Happen" on 94.7 Homebrew (22 February 09) and was listed in the Homebrew Chart Top 10 for 13 weeks and at Number 1 for 6 weeks Received airplay on MK89 for our video "Bound To Happen" (March 09).

Released our first self-titled studio album on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Amazon On demand, Shockhound.com, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, IMVU, Amie Street, Lime Wire Store, Nokia Music Store, Myspace Music, Zune Music, Klicktrack, Nimbit Music & Lala.com Our second single "Come Around" entered the 94.7 homebrew chart debuting at number 1 (13 May 09).
We entered and won the 94.7 "Road to Joburg Day" competition in August 2009.
We shared the stage with Just Jinger, aKing, Zebra & Giraffe, Johnny Clegg, Prime Circle, Jesse Clegg and Flash Republic.
The One And The Many is a mixture of many influences, with each of us getting together and just enjoying what we do.
