Love Unlimited have been described as Barry White's songstresses. Formed in 1969, this three-girl group included Barry White's future wife, Glodean James, her sister Linda James and Diane Taylor. Their very first hit, "Walking in the Rain with the One I Love", may be considered their best record but 'Love's Theme' might also come a close second. Their music (or was it really Barry White's music?) has been described as champagne soul, including the strings and luscious melodies which Barry White put behind their tracks.
