Adjabel is a name composed of the Beninese land of Adja and the Haitian goddess of love, Label. It is a name invented by Cyril Forman who composes music that is culturally diverse, free, eclectic and contemporary. His instrument is the tambour, which he studied in his mother's country of Haiti. He came back as alias Atissou Loko, having been instructed in the knowledge of his ancestors, from a land where the tambour king draws its tradition from the cradle of Africa and the Sanba movement.
