Michael White Project
Michael Walter White (b. 1933) is a U.S. jazz violinist. (It is unclear why Last.fm wrongly redirects "Michael White" to "Michael White Project".) White was born on 24th May 1933 in Houston, Texas, growing up in Oakland, California. where at the age of nine he began playing the violin. He first became known in 1965 when he played with the John Handy Quintet at the Monterey Jazz Festival, and recorded three albums with Handy.
