George Ezra

George Ezra (born George Ezra Barnett, 7 June 1993) is a British singer songwriter from Hertford.
Ezra grew up in Hertford, attending Simon Balle Secondary School.
He moved to Bristol in 2011.
He released his debut EP Did You Hear the Rain? in October 2013, his second EP Cassy O' was released in March 2014.
His debut studio album Wanted on Voyage will be released on 30 June 2014.2013–present: BreakthroughIn the summer of 2013 he played the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
He released his debut EP Did You Hear the Rain? in October 2013.
Did You Hear the Rain made its debut in Italy on iTunes at number 90 and peaked at number 11.
The EP also charted in the United Kingdom on iTunes at number 10.
He achieved airplay on BBC Radio 1 in late 2013, with songs "Did You Hear the Rain?" and "Budapest" regularly featured.
He was included in MTV's 'Brand New for 2014', Vevo's 'DSCVR Ones to Watch 2014' and iTunes' new artists 2014.
Ezra was longlisted for the BBC Sound of...2014, where he eventually finished in fifth place.
The song "Budapest" charted in Italy at number 6 on the Italy Top 20 and was certified platinum by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry.
He has played support spots for Lianne La Havas and Tom Odell.
In March 2014 he released his second EP Cassy O'.
The debut album is Wanted on Voyage.
