Cole Swindell

American country music singer/songwriter Colden Rainey "Cole" Swindell hails from the small town of Glennville, Georgia.
Cole was born June 30, 1983 and was raised in Bronwood, Georgia.
After graduating from high school, he obtained a Business Marketing Degree from Georgia Southern University, and his first job out of college was handling merchandising for one of his frat brothers, country superstar, Luke Bryan.
While he was working for Bryan from 2007-2010, he was also writing songs for other artists.
His song credits include Craig Campbell's "Outta My Head" and several songs recorded by Bryan, including "Beer in the Headlights", "The Sand I Brought to the Beach" and "Love in a College Town".
He also wrote "Water Tower Town" and "Carolina Eyes" for American Idol winner Scotty McCreery.
After achieving notoriety as a songwriter, Swindell decided it was time to pursue his dream at become a country solo artist.
To get things going, Swindell decided to release the song "Chillin It" as an independent artist.
The song quickly started moving up the charts and this surprised Swindell.
By the time it reached No.
1 on the, US Not Country Singles Chart, he had landed himself a record deal with Warner Bros.
Nashville.
With everything in place, he released his self-titled debut album, in February of 2014.
With the song "Chillin It" on the menu, the album debuted at No.
2 on the US Country Albums Chart and No.
3 on the Billboard Hot 200 Albums Chart.
The album also spawned a second hit single entitled "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight", which peaked at No.
7 on the Country Singles Chart.
In early to mid 2014, Swindell went out on the road to tour with his old buddy Luke Bryan as the opening act.
