Rolf Lislevand

Rolf Lislevand is a Norwegian baroque guitarist who was born in 1961. His work has concentrated on two distinct streams. On the one hand, he is a highly regarded performer of traditional Baroque music, recording works by Bach, Monteverdi, and Gautier. On the other hand, he is a skilled improvisor who has composed ideosyncratic works that combine Baroque instruments and conventions with more contemporary instruments like jazz bass and percussion.
