There are at least 3 artists called Lonestar: 1) Lonestar is an American country music band consisting of lead singer Cody Collins (born in Pace, Florida), Michael Britt (born Michael Wayne Britt, 15 June 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas), Keech Rainwater (born Randy Keech Rainwater, 24 January 1963, in Plano, Texas) and Dean Sams (born Kenneth Dean Sams, 3 August 1966, in Garland, Texas). Until September 2007, Richie McDonald (born Richard Vance McDonald, on 6 February 1962, in Mesquite, Texas), was the band's lead singer; he departed in pursuit of a solo career.
