Luv' was one of the most successful Dutch girl groups in the 1970s. Their biggest hit was in 1978 with "You're The Greatest Lover" and consisted of Patty Brard, Marga Scheide and José Hoebee. The group was founded in 1976 by producer Hans van Hemert. Together with composer Piet Souer and manager Han Meijer, they set out to write "My Man" and after an audition he selected three women, the red head José Houbee, the blond Marga Scheide and the brunette Patty Brard. The song immediately becomes a hit in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
