Luisito Carrion

A native of Arecibo in Puerto Rico, Luisito Carrión has been singing since age 13. He began his career as a salsa artist with Orquesta Kafe, Orquesta La Nativa and Grupo Concepto Latino. In his early performances he sung along withCelia Cruz, Adalberto Santiago and Santitos Colon. Later he played in Salsa Fever together with Julio Gunda Mercéd where he had various hits like “Renta de Amor” y “Señores ahí va Julián”. He later joined the Bobby Valentín Orchestra where he sung the hits “El Agua”, “El Señor de las señoras”, “Ramos de flores”, “El Gigolo”, “Tributo de Cali”, y “Como lo hago yo”.
