Haim

Haim is a rock and pop band from California.
The band started when Alana, Este and Danielle Haim, three sisters, began writing music together.
Este and Danielle had already been involved in the music scene when they were in the girl group The Valli Girls.
However, the girls became more and more interested in creating their own songs and in 2006, the three sisters began working on their own band.
However, solo and side projects with other bands made it difficult, at first, for the girls to work on their own music.
Finally, the sisters were able to get together and write music.
They also added a drummer, Danny Hutton and Tommy King, a keyboard player, to their lineup.
The group, which was now going by Haim, began playing small shows at local venues.
They also performed as the opening band for larger acts such as Kesha and Florence and the Machine.
In 2012, the band released its first EP, called "Forever", which was well received, and gained the band a new fan following.
Songs from the EP were praised by music critics, and received radio play.
The following year, the band released its first full length album, which was called "Days Are Gone." Singles such as "The Wire" and "Don't Save Me" quickly became hits.
Music publications such as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and NME praised the album as one of the best of the decade.
The album peaked at #1 on the UK Albums chart, #6 on the US Billboard 200 and #2 on both the US Top Alternative Albums chart and the US Top Rock Albums chart.
