Christopher Dooley, Jr.
(born March 7, 1988), better known by his stage name Hurricane Chris, is an American rapper from Shreveport, Louisiana.With his debut single "A Bay Bay" becoming a top ten hit.

In 2007, Chris dropped out of high school to pursue his rap career.In an interview with The Advocate's Samantha Morgan, he states that he came up with "Hurricane" as part of his stage name from his ability to rap fast and twist the words, "like a hurricane had just blown through".2007–09: 51/50 Ratchet and UnleashedChris' debut single, "A Bay Bay" was released on May 28, 2007.The second single, "The Hand Clap" was released on August 8, 2007.
On August 17, 2007, Chris released his first mixtape, hosted by Don Cannon, Louisi-Animal.On October 23, 2007, Chris released his major label debut album 51/50 Ratchet and is this album, it describes 'the ratchet', as a inspiration by the sounds—in a type of crunk rap music—which it is locally popular at Shreveport.
The album debuted at number 24 on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 26,000 copies in the first week.His lead single, "Halle Berry (She's Fine)" was released on March 3, 2009.His second single, "Headboard" featuring Mario and Plies, was released on September 8, 2009.On December 21, 2009, Chris released second studio album Unleashed, which it did not charted on the US Billboard 200, it only peaked at number 46 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 20 on the US Top Rap Albums charts.2010–present: Return of the HurricaneIn 2010, Chris departed ways with both Polo Grounds Music and J Records, after his second album did not sold any copies and became unsuccessful, as he setting up the release of his third studio album titled Showtime: Still 51/50 under his own independent label 51/50 Entertainment along with FyreHouse Entertainment.
The album will be introduction bring back to his roots of the 'louisiana hardnest' rapping style from his first album, mixing with his second album.
From recording his upcoming album, Chris has been working with several producers, including Shawty Redd, Phunk Dawg, DJ Spinz, 1500 or Nothin, Seven, Mr.
Bangladesh, among others.On March 5, 2012, the song "Bend It Over" was officially released through iTunes.
On May 25, 2012, in the interview with AllHipHop, Chris has changed the title of his third LP as Return of the Hurricane.On January 2, 2013, in promotion of the album, Chris has dropped his mixtape, Caniac.
In this mixtape there were songs—"Ball Hard", "Go Crazy", "I Dont F*ck With Yall", "Down South" and "Pu**y on Me"—with a accompanying music videos.
On January 11, 2014, Chris has released his single Ratchet, in which was produced by DJ Mustard.Personal lifeHuntington's principal Jerry Davis declared 9-25-07 (September 25, 2007) as "Hurricane Chris Day".
