Young Dro

D'Juan Montrel Hart is an American hip hop rapper best known by the stage name Young Dro.
Known for his many guest appearances and mixtapes, Hart exploded onto the mainstream rap scene with the help of T.I.
and their hit single "Shoulder Lean".
Over his career, Hart has earned a BET Award, a Dirt Award nomination and an Ozone Award for Best Rapper.
Hart grew up in the west side of Atlanta, Georgia where he was inspired to become a rapper by the local success of Goodie Mac and his close friend, Chris Smith, who would later become part of Kris Kross.
In 1999, he signed with the local label Tight IV Life Records under the name Dro.
His first release, I Got That Dro, spawned the local Atlanta hit single, "Yes Sir".
This gained the notice of multiple artists in the area, and Hart made guest appearances with other groups such as P$C, Young Buck and DJ Khaled.
By 2006, Hart was signed with T.I.'s label Grand Hustle Records and released his first commercial single, "Shoulder Lean".
The single, featuring T.I., climbed to #10 on the US Billboard chart, reaching triple platinum.
Later that year, the full album, Best Thang Smokin', earned number one status on both US Rap and US R&B charts.
At the 2006 BET Hip Hop Awards, Hart received three nominations and won the BET Mobile Hot Ring Award.
Over the next seven years, Hart released thirteen mixtapes and was featured in multiple singles.
2008's "I'm A G" with Yung Joc and T.I.
reached #4 on the US Rap charts.
2010's "Bring It Back" with 8Ball and MJG climbed to #23.
In 2013, Hart released his second full studio album, High Times, which reached #57 on the US Billboard charts.
It featured Mac Boney, Problem, Doe B and Blue June among others.
