Soul For Real

CareerFormed in 1992, Soul for Real signed with Uptown Records and released their debut album Candy Rain on March 28, 1995.
Produced by Heavy D, Candy Rain's first single was the album's title track.
The song hit #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and peaked at #2 on the Hot 100 chart.
Their second single, "Every Little Thing I Do", reached #11 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #17 on the Hot 100 chart.Soul for Real's second album, For Life, was produced by Sean Combs and released on September 24, 1996.
The album peaked at #119 on the Billboard 200, and the album's second single "Love You So" peaked at #64 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs in 1997.Staying under Heavy D's tutelage, the group moved to independent label Chrome Dome Records for their third album, Heat.
After a distribution deal with Tommy Boy Music fell through, Warlock Records took over distribution and released the album on May 18, 1999.
The album failed to chart.
One single, "Can't Wait" was released on May 1, 1999.In 2007, Soul for Real formed their own label, Aljoba Music Group (AMG), and began work on their fourth studio album tentatively entitled The Unknown.
The single "One Man" (featuring Jadakiss) was released in 2008.
Later that year, they released an EP titled Summertime.In 2009, Brian Dalyrimple was indicted on 145 counts of aggravated identity fraud.
The other three brothers, KD (Andre), Jason "Jase" Oliver and Choc (Chris) remained as members of the group and continued on as Soul For Real.In 2010 lead singer Jason also known as "Jase Oliver" released a solo album called "Emerged" under his label/production company Jasemakermusic LLC.In 2012, they announced that they were in the studio working on their fourth studio album, and have revealed the album title to be The Evolution: Journey.
The album's lead single is "Can't Leave U Alone."In 2013 Soul for Real toured with Changing Faces, Case, Ginuwine and others.
Jason "Jase" Oliver released another solo project titled "The Preface".
In August, Soul For Real signed a multi-album deal with IMG/Warner Brothers with Robert Terell via his label Wealth Nation Entertainement.
In November, Soul For Real's member Christopher aka Choc signed a deal with Rick Robinson CEO and Found Of IMG Recordings .It was also at this time that reunited with original member Karl Young.
Young, now in the telecommunications industry performed "Candy Rain" to a sold out crowd at the Hard Rock Orlando.
Karl is pursuing solo concerts at this time.
