Being passionate about electronical music Stephan Drobez and Sascha Mulder set up the project 2-4 Grooves in 2002. Due to their meticulous work they quickly had first experiences and managed their first gigs together. After some first productions 2-4 Grooves turned into an insider tip of the German House & Dance Scene. From then on Steve Sound & Mr. Starfunk received tons of remix requests. Today they are proud of nearly 50 international remix productions for Cascada, Alex C. (Alex Christensen), Sylver, Basshunter, ... and so on.In 2006 the first official track called „The Way I Do" was released. This cover of Melissa Etheridge, which she uncovered to be released by herself, rapidly reached the top positions of all relevant Dance Charts. The single also managed the first position in Viva's Club Rotation from the first point on and stuck there the whole 12 weeks. Furthermore „The Way I Do" was established on the 3rd position in the Official Disco Hits 2007 by GEMA right after Disco Boy's „For you" and Bob Sinclair's „Love Generation".After this sensational outcoming the guys' second release followed up, called „Writing on the wall (St. Elmos Fire 2008)", a cover of John Parr. Again this track directly got the top position in all Club Charts and also gained international feedback. Continuing this run, „Writing On The Wall" turned into a #1 Radio Hit in 2008. Completed by a music video the single anew was voted on the top of Viva's Club Rotation Charts and kept going the whole 12 weeks. While seeking inspiration for the 3rd Single, 2-4 Grooves met Singer Reki. D. (Paderborn), who convinced them by his great voice. Together they wrote the 3rd Track „Relax", which was released on July 2009. Summed up: Hat trick! After a few weeks "Relax" dominated the Dj Charts again. This day 2-4 Grooves are playing in clubs all around the world and get the crowd hyped by a wide-ranging set up and a strong presentation. If you don't see us, you'll hear us!
