The Rodeo
La chanteuse et guitariste Dorothée est l'unique membre de The Rodeo, dont elle adopte le nom d'après l'album Sweetheart of the Rodeo (1968) de The Byrds, première réussite du country rock.Après avoir oeuvré au sein du groupe Hopper, elle sort discrètement My First EP by The Rodeo en juin 2008, puis embarque pour les Etats-Unis d'Amérique.
Entre son repaire en Géorgie du Sud et de nombreux concerts au Canada, en Allemagne, Suisse et Angleterre, The Rodeo fait découvrir ses rengaines folk et ses grelots vissés aux chevilles.En décembre 2009 sort l'EP Hotel Utah, garni du hit « On the Radio » et de la reprise du « Amazing » de Kanye West.
Dans « Cha cha cha », la chanteuse sample Marilyn Manson.Le folk très naturel est au programme de l'album Music Maelström, produit par Stuart Sikes (The Walkmen, Cat Power).
Il sort en France le 23 février 2010 chez Naïve.
