Transient
Transient was formed as a result of Evan's need to continue to write and play music after he was no longer able to collaborate as frequently with Jared, Nigel and Seth; of the now defunct The Least of Thieves.
Transient is a temporary project (hence the name) mostly working under the musical musings of Evan Hartman, with regular assistance from more talented artists such as Nigel Coutinho, Jared Dryden, and Seth Coutinho.
Transient released their first recorded work, an EP titled "Understatement" last summer, and is currently working on a follow-up EP called "Writing The Wrongs" which will release May 24th of this year.
This new EP will explore a different range of musical stylings, including darker instrumentation and lyrical themes, as well as a more mature vocal approach.
Transient hopes to continue its small but minute influence on the local music scene into the summer with a planned concert in June.
TRANSIENT uses Schecter guitars and Apple's GarageBand software.
