Kym Sims

CareerWorking with four time Grammy Award-nominated record producer Steve Hurley, her dance anthem, "Too Blind to See It", spent 12 weeks on the UK Singles Chart over the festive period of 1991/1992.
Another song that Sims is well known for is her 1992 hit single "Take My Advice" which reached number 13 in the UK.
It was also a club hit.
The same year she had a more modest hit with, "A Little Bit More".
An album was released entitled Too Blind To See It.
This peaked at number 39 in the UK Albums Chart.
The album was produced by Hurley, with co-production credits shared with E-Smoove and 4 time Grammy Award winner Maurice Joshua.In 1995 she released "I Must Be Free".
In 1996, she released another single "We Gotta Love", which was the last single of hers to be released physically on CD or vinyl.
In 1998 she provided the lead vocals for "Keep On Groovin'" by One Vision under the alias Shimma.
In 2000 she released another single through MP3.com called "Just Can't Get Enough".2013 found Sims working with Grammy Producer Maurice Joshua on new material for an upcoming CD as well as planning tour dates.
Her first single titled 'Good Morning' is available at www.cdbaby.com and her official site at www.kymsims.comIn 2014, Kym Sims along with LadyMarySound International released another single, titled 'One Of Those Nights', on March 21, 2014.SongwritingSims also co-wrote one of CeCe Peniston's biggest hits, "Keep On Walkin'" (No.1 in US Dance, No.15 in Hot 100), produced by Hurley.

In addition Sims wrote the R&B hit "Good Morning" performed by Tene Williams (recording artist Howard Hewitt's niece) and produced by Maurice Joshua.
Other songs written by Kym Sims include "Crazy" performed by Jamie Loring.
Kym wrote her own 2000 release titled "Just Can't Get Enough" under the Music Plant Label.Chart history"I Must Be Free" was also featured on Dance Mix USA Volume 3.

After moving from number 7, the song rose to its highest position of number 5, where it remained for two weeks.
One more week in the top 10 followed, then two more in the lower top 40, before the record left the chart.Too blind to see it was released on the Atco record label and was certified silver.
It was included on an album of the same name that peaked at number 39 in the UK album chart later in 1992.
This was the only top 10 hit for Kym Sims.RemixesIn addition to Hurley, the other remixers who contributed mixes to the commercial single releases of "Too Blind To See It" and "Take My Advice" were E-Smoove, and Maurice Joshua.
The commercial single for "A Little Bit More" featured remixes by Hurley and Joey Negro.
"I Must Be Free" was remixed by DJ Pierre and Love to Infinity.
"We Gotta Love" was released with remixes by David Morales, as well as Band of Gypsies.In 2013, "Good Morning" was remixed by Soulfunktion, Paul Hawkins & Italy's Finest Christopher Ross.
