In de jaren ’80 zijn Martin en Vincent als echte zendpiraten, met liefde voor de italomuziek, begonnen. Vincent heeft Radio Stad ’s-Gravenzande opgericht en Martin zond uit als Delta Radio. In het Weekend waren ze altijd te vinden in Discotheek het Teejater in Naaldwijk waar de Italomuziek leefde en brachten via hun eigen radio zenders verslag uit van de nieuwste hits en draaiden hun eigen favorieten. Illegaal uitzenden is verboden waardoor ze enkele malen uit de lucht zijn gehaald. Het was altijd een sport om zo lang mogelijk uit te zenden zonder gepakt te worden. Helaas werd het beleid van de Radio Controle Dienst strenger en de boetes hoger.
Na een stilte op radiogebied begon het in 2000 toch weer te kriebelen en richtte Vincent & Martin Radio Stad ’s-Gravenzande wederom op. Na tweemaal weer uit de lucht gehaald te zijn, zijn we aan het brainstormen gegaan hoe we de italomuziek met andere mensen konden delen. We dachten: zullen we een italofeest organiseren. Zo zijn we Part I begonnen met een feestje in Cafe De Doors in De Lier met ongeveer honderd bezoekers. We vonden dat zo leuk om te doen en zochten een andere locatie. Dat is dus de Wollebrand geworden.
De laatste keer, part IX, waren er 320 bezoekers. Er is dus erg veel belangstelling om dit feest twee maal per jaar voort te zetten.
